THE PROJECT
Kering Eyewear developed a global showroom rollout across ten principal international destinations, using a coordinated system of display elements designed to present multiple eyewear brands within different showroom environments.
The project involved the preparation and pre-assembly of the display components, destination-specific packing and shipment control, international installation, and later dismantling and return logistics. The same modular elements were also reused for additional showroom locations after the principal rollout.
MY ROLE
I supported the Project Manager during the operational execution of the global showroom rollout, with responsibility focused on warehouse preparation, pre-assembly, packing and shipment readiness. I coordinated the flow of components from supplier intake through destination-specific packing, working with production, warehouse and installation teams to ensure that each shipment left complete and ready for installation.
My work included checking incoming components against production lists, coordinating warehouse pre-assembly, verifying destination-specific packing lists, following missing or defective pieces with suppliers, and organizing packing and shipment activities across the principal international destinations. I also followed the Milan installation and dismantling directly on site, coordinating the return flow from dismantling through repacking and vehicle loading.
WAREHOUSE PRE-ASSEMBLY & VERIFICATION
Before packing and shipment, selected showroom elements were pre-assembled in the warehouse to verify component completeness, configuration and overall readiness. This intermediate step helped identify missing, defective or incorrect parts before they reached the installation stage.
I coordinated this preparation phase by checking incoming components against the production list, organizing the pre-assembly sequence with the warehouse and production teams, and following up on missing or defective items with the relevant suppliers when replacements or remakes were required.
DESTINATION-SPECIFIC PACKING & SHIPMENT CONTROL
Each principal destination required a complete, location-specific set of showroom elements and hardware. After pre-assembly, the components were packed according to the established crate system and checked against destination-specific packing lists before dispatch.
I was responsible for verifying shipment completeness, ensuring that the required components were assigned to the correct crates and that each destination was ready for collection. This involved coordinating with the warehouse team, following outstanding or replacement parts, and maintaining control of multiple shipments progressing through preparation at the same time.

GLOBAL SHOWROOM ROLLOUT
The rollout covered ten principal international destinations: Milan, New York, Munich, London, Paris, Dubai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Seoul. Each shipment followed the same overall preparation and control process, while the showroom elements were adapted to different installation environments and local conditions.
After the principal rollout, the same display system was also reused for additional showroom locations. This extended the operational lifecycle of the elements beyond the first installation cycle and required continued control of component completeness, packing and redeployment.

MILAN ON-SITE OPERATIONS & REVERSE LOGISTICS
Milan was the principal location that I followed directly on site during installation and dismantling. During the return phase, I acted as the operational reference for the movement of the showroom elements, coordinating the sequence from dismantling through repacking and loading for transport back.
The dismantling involved separate teams working in parallel on disassembly and crate repacking. I coordinated the flow between these activities so that the correct components returned to the appropriate crates and the loading process could continue efficiently across multiple transport vehicles.
FINAL RESULT
The project delivered a coordinated international showroom rollout across ten principal destinations, supported by a structured preparation process covering component verification, warehouse pre-assembly, destination-specific packing and shipment control.
My contribution connected supplier intake, warehouse execution, international shipment readiness and direct on-site operations in Milan, helping ensure that the showroom elements moved through each stage complete, controlled and ready for deployment and return.
